Black Leather "Pimp" Jacket, circa 1973: Baaad To The Bone Be a badass motherfucker or just try to look like one, sucker. On the heels of "Black Is Beautiful" and the Black Power movement came this superfly evolution of the Black Panther's trademark leather coat; the lapels got wide, the waist got slim, and the bottom flared like everything else. Afro not included. This is a commonly recurring silhouette, because it's flattering, but the impact just isn't the same if you're not walkin' the walk and talkin' the talk.</end>
